New to the list, and help!

Hi everyone,

I just signed up after realizing what I'm getting into.

I have owned an 84 Coupe GT since 86.

I just bought an 83 TQC, which is solid, original and runs well, but has lots of small things to fix.

First request for help: the radiator fan does not cycle on and off as it should.  The wiring plug into the fan motor, when wiggled, will cause the fan to kick on but the fan will not cycle off without wiggling the plug.  Beside the wiring, any suggestions for the fix: relay?, temp. switch?, other?
