RE: Suspension setups for 200q20v's

Brett, I put H&R springs and Bilstein sport shocks on my 1991 200q20v, and
it's a fantastic ride. I have to deal with NE roads as well (CT) and I find
the ride to be firm and definitely not harsh. It killed all the squat and
dive from the car, and the cornering is MUCH flatter. Even my conservative
wife "doesn't mind" the way it drives (but she asked me to leave the A4tqa
suspension alone for a while...)

Just to back up that claim with other opnions, I met with Neil Swanson and
Michael Avedis (a 200q20v Avant owner) last weekend for a wheel fitting
party (over the Boxster brakes) and he asked to drive the car. When the two
of them came back, they had big smiles on and told me they were very
impressed with the ride, even to the point of going LOOKING for holes to hit
to check for the ride.

You're very welcome to visit here in CT and drive it for yourself all you
want. I'm extremely satisfied with the combination.
