[Fwd: Who's going to Mt. Wash?]

I'll be at the NEQ breakfast at Thompson House Eatery on Saturday
morning...I plan on being there before 9AM.

Arrival time is a bit fuzzy, because I need to coordinate dropping
the TQW off in Concord NH with my mechanic for a clutch pack and
 new suspension bushings...

 Observation of the day:
For the first time in two weeks I drove the CQ to work-
The first week because the AC was in operative and it was downright
hot and humid, the second, because the 30 cu. yard dumpster blocked
 the garage.

Driving the 1991 200 TQW for those two weeks has given me a case
of the "seduced by the 3B 200 20v Turbo syndrome" Here's a great
analogy for those of you who have not been exposed to the 20v turbo.

When the boost is on, the speedometer seems to move at the same
rate as the tachometer...try that with a 20v NA motor.

Waiting to build up speed was a bit frustrating this AM (I looked
at my watch while waiting to accelerate ;^)
It's nice to have the handling of the CQ back, however.

Unfortunately, my "ersatz envy" will be prioritized below the reroofing
the house and barn, replacement windows, new clapboard siding, and
 most importantly:

-> the rug rat (baby) due in 6 weeks (hmmm- "honey, the wagon has a
bit too much power, so to make it safer, I'm going to switch engines
with my
 Coupe"-)

 Yeah, right. I can dream...

1990 CQ - konis, Borbet Ts, SP8Ks, Scorpion
1991 TQW - bilsteins, old bushings, crappy tires, leaking muffler (and
 1.8 bar!)
