mmm, must be some sort of spontaneous outage, on both sides of the world.
my ur-q oil cooler thermostat gave up a couple of weeks ago. identical
symptoms to those you describe.

Snap. Just like mine does (well, I dunno about the oil 'cos the gauge only

Snap again - mine started doing this on Saturday but has now returned to one
segment below "N". Its also started to idle high when hot. At cold start up
it idles at 1 segment on the tach but by the time I reach work (25 miles) it
sits at 3 segments, sometimes dropping to 2.
