RE: 4x108 wheels another 2 cents
I'm running on 15x7 (4x108) 5 spoke with 205/50/15 but I did not opt for
the lowered suspension on my coupe. Tried it didn't like rubbing in the
rear wheels wells over bad train crossings/bumps with 40 kilo dog +
groceries in back so took out the H&R's replaced with new Audi springs.
This has also contributed immensely to the increased population of local
wildlife.
The problem that I'm experiencing (Canada) is that the 205/50/15 tire
selection is becoming scarce. If you drive a lot of km's/miles like me
(80-85,000 km/yr) and run on "Z's" you'll pay big bucks you have fairly
good choices but no longevity.
Drop to "V's" your choices start to shrink - but not necessarily the price
although you will get a bit longer tread life.
Dare drop to "H's" even less of a choice and the prices really don't change
that much either - but then safety becomes a issue if you have a heavy
foot.
Another $.02 ($.0138 CDN).
