86 coupe GT

I've got an 86 coupe GT that didn't run for about a year.(wrecked)The engine 
is now in another coupe GT.  The car is up to specs. passed inspection with 
flying colors even though it has empty cat and it recently has had a tune 
up.  The car idles nicely and runs nicely if you maintain any speed, but the 
problem is when you give it gas.  It sounds and feels like a freight train.  
The car just isn't as smooth as before.  I think maybe the fuel injectors 
need servicing.  The fuel distributor was changed when the engine swap was 
done.  Any ideas?I am also trying to figure out the digital dash.  I would 
appreciate explanations from anyone that knows.  I figured out how to turn 
off some of the gauges.
