Oil Temps
Benjamin,
I know I'm a little late (digest), but FWIW, since my car is pretty similar
to yours, most of the time the car hangs out (once warmed up) just over the
tick mark between the 60 and the 130. I assume this tick mark is 100C.
Steady interstate driving moves the oil temp solidly over the tick mark, but
never really close to 130. I assume these oil temperatures are pretty
standard. Based on my assumptions, this means the motor is probably running
220-230 F, which would be enough to burn off any water or condensation.
HTH,
Samuel
