Running on fumes
Quick two questions (and apologies if I've missed the answers in
previous postings):
1. Audi owners' manual (I didn't have Bentley handy driving in today)
says there are 3.2 gallons of fuel remaining when the gas gauge first
hits the red "empty" zone. (The car is a 93 S4). But how much gas is
left when the low gas warning light first appears? (I know, I know,
one should refuel well in advance of the red zone, much less the
warning stage, so please no lecturing.)
2. 95 octane is recommended. Not commonly [at all?] available in at
least my part of the US (northeast). Best one can readily do is buy
super costly 94 octane Sunoco - all the other popular brands don't go
beyond 93 octane. Is the extra cost for 94 really worth it? (Again,
the vehicle in question is a 93 S4 - with chip)
