Importing cars to the US???

Dan, don't even consider this game unless you have LOTS of money to spare.
This used to be practical in "the old days", but now, with so many required
changes to vehicles built after about 1968 (and the newer they are, the
more changes there are) it really isn't practical unless money is a MINOR
consideration, or even not a consideration at all. Even Bill Gates had to
send his Porsche 959 (or something) back because it couldn't be federalized.

The DOT and NTSB and EPA obviously feel we should be a nation of Hyundai
drivers (Apologies to Phillip Wylie and his book A Nation of Sheep - {no,
not NZ}) instead of having cars that handle, stop, can get out of their own
way, and have lights good enough to see where they are going at night.
