sptool.com is the e mail address. Schley Products is located in Anaheim
Hills, Calif. 714-693-7666, Fax # is 714693-8558. I've replaced
two bearings with the tool, and while I'm
generally pleased with this tool,
it was expensive ( About $165) as I recall, and the threaded shaft
partially stripped after the sec ond use. The company warns you to
grease the shaft prior to each use, which I did, but I suspect that
this is a design shortcoming in mechanical pullers such as this which
may not tolerate the stresses imposed by a ftightly stuck bearing, or a
less than perpendicular angle to the strut assembly while pulling.
Ive had a tech tell me that he has to replace these shafts on a similar
puller for pulling trailing arm pullers, every couple of months. Mike
Posner. San Diego
Anyone know offhand how much it costs, and/or how well it works?
