Lean Fuel Mixture

I pulled a code on last thursday, 2343, lean mixture.  I have been
noticing when the car is hot, I come to a stop and the rpms drop to low,
engine sputters, it corrects itself by revving a tiny bit, it repeats that
a couple times, quickly.  Could that be a bi-product of the mixture being
too lean?  Or should I be looking elsewhere?
