4kQ Power Windwo Update/ Ac problem now

I finally got a chance to look at the power window problem in my car. If
you will remember, the only clue was all windows stopped working suddenly,
the lights for the switches would not even come on. Well I found the
circuit breaker, and when I went to remove it, it was very hot. I was
already having trouble with the LR and RF windows, the LR one would not go
up unless you jiggled the switch, and the RF one's window regulator was
making funny noises and having trouble going up and down. Well upon
removal of the RF switch, the other three switches lit up. The LR one
still was working funky. I disassembled the switch (BTW it looks to me as
a LED could be soldered in there if your switch won't light up but
otherwise works, its pretty simple to disassemble) and discovered the up
was being held closed due to a weakened spring (I originally though this
was the cause of the problem) Well as mentioned in a previous post I went
to the junkyard and got 4 working (even the lights) switches. I replaced my
two bad switches and the circuit breaker immediatly popped. Very confused
at this point. I decided to replace the regulator/track/motor and then go
back to the switches. Lo and behold when I got to the motor wiring, the
wire was chafing and grounding out right where it and the vacuum line were
attached to the door with a plastic strip. So the switch going bad and the
short were causing my problems (in fact the short might have caused the
switch failure). Anyway the whole think is back together and all the
windows go up and down just like they should. BUT.........................

When I first took out the the PW circuit breaker I had to remove the two
relays below it to fit my hand in there. I got it all back together, and
the AC wouldn't work anymore. Literally I pulled up to my house, shut off
the car with the AC running, pulled the relays/breaker, put them back in
and the AC compressor doesn't engage now. What the hell did I do??? The
AC switch light comes on, and the fan comes on the low speed it does when
the switch is on 0, but the AC is on (fan turns off when you turn AC off.)
So obviously power is getting to the switch and beyond. I tested the
voltage at the wire goin to the compressor, and it is 0V, and even if I
jump the wire straight to +12V, the compressor won't engage. Strange
coincidence or did I mess something up under the dash?

Someone please have the answer, it was 95 degrees F here and 70% humidity.
I'm dying without my AC (and its only been a day).
