RE: Avi, going away to Hy 1

I am still here,
I assume you have a std. Bosch relay,

# 30 of the relay gets power from the batt.
# 85 gets "ground" from the "ground" wire that went to the pump (the Audi
pump)
# 86 gets the "positive" wire that went to the pump (the Audi pump)
# 87 go to the Shogun pump, positive wire
the other Shogun pump wire gets a "ground" from the car

The positive wire from the old Audi pump and the ground wire from the old
Audi pump triggers the relay to supply power to the Shogun pump,
I hope I helped some,
There is no need to ''prime" the pump, 15 PSI in the cooling system is
plenty "priming"...

Avi,

If you haven't left yet, can you send me some clues on how to wire up this
Shogun pump? I can re-send you the message I sent to the list (for which I
got NO reply) if you'd like, but basically I can't figure out what goes into
the relay and to where. I read Dave Head's original post on the subject and
it thoroughly confused me.

Any help appreciated. Enjoy Portland!

Later,
Dan
