We suspect a _VERY_ similar-sounding pump to be the cause of engine
cut-outs on Amdrew Riley's MB ur-quattro. The foam sleeve is a
particular worry, since one failure mode of the usual pump is
overheating.

Either Bosch 0 580 254 968 or 0 580 254 909 can be fitted to a WR
ur-quattro. The MB ur-quattro takes 0 580 254 929 - I believe the
main difference is a larger inlet for the hose from the tank.
