ETKA How?

OK, I am trying to run ETKA off of my hard drive.  Has anyone accomplished
this?  I have been futzing around with the .ini files, making sure that
the directories all match...  At one point it ran to a point then quit.
Can I run it off my hard drive?  It always says Attention: file duden.e is
missing.  I know where it is, the "D" directory.  What shall I do?  I
could create a false CD drive under windows using a program I have heard
of, but I can't install ETKA because my screen won't allow it.  Although I
can run ETKA with a resolution/desktop size increasing program, but it
won't fool the etkasetup program to think it's any larger than 800x600.
Hmmm.  Anyone who can help?
