Rally Baie des Chaleurs

Hi Folks,

The Rally Baie des Chaleur will get underway Friday at 6 pm EST.  THe route 
will cover approximately 375 km of which about 225 km will be special stages 
through one of the most senic regions of Canada.

The people of New Richmond really get out and support this event with 
thousands of spectators traveling from all over eastern Canada and the US.   

Frank and Dan Sprongl in the mighty Audi are the crowd favorites.  The 
brothers beat their curse two years ago with a win and a finish after 7 
attempts and failures.  Last year the Audi lead the field the whole rally.  
The Subaru team of McGeer and McGeer seem to be getting the Subaru Canada 
sponsored WRX sorted out and promise to give the Sprongls some competition.

The Van Gogh Promotions Subaru Legacy Turbo, also will compete in the 
Production GT Class.  The team has a sponsorship with AOL Canada and will be
