RE: Telling which 80q tranny is which?
If you look at the very "top" of the transmission bellhousing, on the
surface that used to be right next to the head you should see a flat spot
with the code stamped in. for example mine says AKU 17049 the numeric
portion standing for day(17) month(04) and year(9 or meaning 89).
