looking for opinion

There is an advertisement in my local paper for an 88 Audi 80 Quattro. 
They are asking $2500.  It has 115k miles.  The only thing that the
owner tells me is wrong is the d/s rear window switch.  I'm checking out
this car early next week.  What should I be looking for, common problems
things to avoid, terminal problems to run away from...  How are items
such as; brakes, CV joints, water pumps, fuel pumps, "T" belt/chain,
engine/trans durability, wiring/switches/electrical components,
suspension components/shocks/struts, etc?   I use to be a VW tech(in the
early 80's), so I do have a bit of mechanical experience.  I have been
working on/driving Toyotas for the past 10 years.  I was looking for an
All-Trac Camry(5 spd), but couldn't find one.  All you can help me with
