oxygen sensor

I saved this information at work and not at home unfortunately...

Can anyone send me the info on the cheaper alternative to the "correct"
OXS for these beasts? I remember that someone had found another 3-wire
sensor that is the same Bosch part number, but has a different wiring
harness. Then you cut and splice to your current wires. Memory says 89
Ford Taurus, but that one was a 4-wire sensor at Advance Auto. Is it a
different other car or is it really a 4 wire? My 200 and my CGT are both
3 wire. I think the V8 is too.

If anyone can help me out on this beautiful 4th of July, I'd appreciate
it.
