I am finally embarking on purchasing my 1st Urq. I have found an 84 model that is in relatively good condition. Over the past few weeks I have been looking at all the different sites of owners of the TQC & seen what modifications that have been made to them. The most common seems to be mostly engine modifications, either a simple turbo switch to complete engine changes, and of course the updating of the Dash & instruments is a must. Where is the best place to find parts like a "Dash" and other mechanical parts like brakes, etc ?

My thoughts are to rebuild the existing engine (depending on it's condition), replace the stock turbo with a RS2 model, add a 3" downpipe, try to fit in a 944 Turbo intercooler, add or modify front swaybar, repaint (definately), strip interior and replace ( of course with the "red" handed dials :) ), and search for some non-Ronal wheels, and maybe lower it a tad.
