Your 90q has a center Torsen (Torque-sensing) differential that
automagically varies torque distribution between the front and rear
axles, eliminating the need for a center differential lock switch.
There should still be a switch to lock your rear diffs, though.
In the later A4q, the rear diff lock is replaced by the EDL ("electronic
differential lock") that uses the ABS system to help the car get unstuck.
