Re: changing ufo pads




Just did them on the 91 v8.  Easier than the g60 in my opinion :-)

Jack it up, take of the rim, push the rod down on the inside pad,
remove inside pad,  unscrew rotor from hub, one star or flat screw.
I had one of each....

Pull the caliper towards you and the rotor sould be able to be 
wriggled out(Tech Term), push the outer pad in and it pops off....

To put it together, put the outer pad in first, then the caliper,
push the caliper in to tet the rotor on, put the inside pad in, screw the
rotor on, put on the rim at 80ftlbs.....

The caliper stay's on, ya don't have to remove it ;-)  took me less
than 30 minutes, and I was reading the manual for the first one, next
time should be a 20 minute job.

This is a quick description, so use it as a guide.... not wrote...

outer pad = one closest to you
inner pad = one closest to engine
