an ISV in their stock configuration ... they use an auxiliary air regulator
to allow extra air to bypass the throttle plate when the engine is cold ...
idle speed is adjusted with a bypass screw on the throttle body, and there
is an auxiliary valve that allows air to bypass the throttle plate when the
air conditioner is engaged.
