Is WireDryer just silicon spray?  They feel the same, and I've just used 
silicon spray for this purpose when I clean my cap & wires.

     When all else fails, try spraying "Wire Dryer" on the electrical
     connections. It's worked for me in the past without any noticable
     damage. Should be available at any auto parts store.
