I installed the Audi fusible link, made for the fan circuit in later model
cars than my '88.  It came with an 80 amp fusible link.

I don't know what the fan draws on high  -- I have seen posts claiming 30
amps continuous.  If this is true, on startup of the fan, a 60 amp fuse
might be light.

The 80 amp fusible link is what I would consider a slow-blow fuse.  It would
take an 80 amp load a long moment to fry through the link.
