I would check the prices for the parts a The Parts Connection.

For $2000 you should surely get a second estimate. Find out what you can
buy the parts for and see if you can get a shop to install them for you. I
have an arrangement that if I supply the parts the shop does not give a
warrantee for the repair. It is a fair deal if you know the shop does good
work.
