camber in back eliminates the rubbing. I think the shape of the tire is
a big factor as well. I have 205/55 16 P-7000 which have gotten noisier
 as the tread has worn.

P.S. I had them on my '91 200 tq for a while and that application
required a 4 mm spacer on the front wheels to clear the UFO's.

thats what i am in the process of trying to do, as i dont want to modify the
suspension on my '86 5kT to run these wheels. i am thinking of running the
ET45 wheel on the rears, and the ET37 wheels on the fronts. the ET45's work
great on the rears, and there is not a chance of any rubbing. however, my
question is, during sharp/hard wheel turns, do the ET37's (with 205 55 16's)
rub inside the front wheel wells?

i've tried the ET45 wheel with stock rubber up front, and while it fits, it
is too close to the tie rod end for me...

i dont think a slightly different offset between the front and rears will
give me any problem.
