Audi Highbred

Spotted old/new Audi highbred..........

Wife and I were heading to Windsor yesterday, we've just past London on the
#401 when we come up to this CGT with Nebraska plates. Wife slows down and
creeps up on his tail - the car is red, he's doing about 75km/h on a
100km/h highway, smoking badly, the big "Coupe" lettering across the back
has been replaced with "Quattro" and poorly done at that. Car has 2 "S"
badges on back (one on each corner). Back and rear side windows covered in
decals - mostly from the '70's. I personally liked the "Thrush" and the
"Hurst" ones - haven't seen those in years. His right rear tire has quite
a wobble - tires look undersized and I bet they were even mismatched.

Pull along side he has replaced his Audi badges with "S" badges. Original
rims painted black, driver (50 something) gives us a big smile and a wave.
Looks like he lives in his car since it is jammed with bags and boxes.
Wife pulls ahead - he has replaced his front grill with what looks like a
very poorly done diamond shape grill painted red (wife said it looked like
fencing). No front spoiler, bumper painted - you could almost see the
brush strokes. But what really got us laughing was the duct tape that
appeared to be holding down the hood.

About 5 hours later were heading back and at the service centre near
Chatham we spot this car getting back on the #401 (guess it needs frequent
and long rests). So if he made it the border and anyone driving between
Detroit - Nebraska spots this car over the next week or so, do us all a big
favor and shoot the car. I would have done it but we're not allowed to own
guns.
