I have, in fact, there was a period of 6 months when i was commuting from 
LA to SF every weekend to visit my girlfriend.  That was almost 500 miles 
each way.  I tended to not do anythign except drive while behind the 
wheel. I put 30k miles on my 4kq in 5 months of driving to give you an 
idea.  

So, i know what long trips are like and yes, i might have a bottle of 
water now and then, but i never considered, nor ever will most likely, a 
cupholder to be an important feature on a car.
