Re: Shock removal on '87 5k

Problem solved! :-)

I went to a friend of mine, borrowed an air wrench and a small air
compressor. Put the air wrench on that thing, at it came off in a few
seconds. Put in the new shock, and except for the big wrench I used to
hold the whole strut assembly forwards slipping so my finger got hurt,
everything went fine. Will take the other side tomorrow, intended to
do it today, but I managed to leave the other shock somewhere in my
small, filled-up garage and I can't find it.. :-)

Now it's time for the subframe rubber bushings. Any tips? Do I need
the special tools to install them, or can it be done with the proper
"normal" tools?
