Hmmm... I thought they HAD to give you first shot at buying it.  I
bought
mine back from State Farm, even though I think I overpaid for it by a
couple hundred dollars.  They wouldn't negotiate on it's price.  I _did_
however, negotiate a great settlement, so I was pleased with them,
overall.
