And how many good posts would you miss if they went to a sublist you
weren't on?

In case you hadn't noticed - Audi model ranges _share_ technology. Any
hint or tip about an MC engine (Type 44 - 5000/200) is applicable to
a Type 85 with an MB engine or even to a VW Passat with a JS engine.

Personally, I think Dan should add some text to the newbie joining
text.  "Do not suggest splitting the list until you've been here at
least a year."
