While on the subject '91 200q phone question

  I've finally decided to find out what happened to the phone in my wife's
91 200q. Other then the rear antenna there was never a trace of a phone in
the car. Now I have found the connectors w/wiring for the phone stuffed
under the center console. The factory armrest that housed the phone is gone
and replaced with a non-phone one. I figure one of two things. Either the
factory phone was removed or it never had one and someone stuck in an
aftermarket phone while owning the car. The factory phone being removed the
likelier of the two.
 My question is where in the trunk will I find the other end of the
connectors? While I am back there, where might I find the factory CD wiring?
