RE: typ44 clutch question

Sounds like your release bearing is going home. I have  had this before best to get it checked out.

		on my '86 5kT, 5 speed,  when i have the car idling in neutral, i hear this 
		rattling noise from the tranny, but when i depress the clutch, it stops, only 
		to start again when i let off on the clutch.  

		any ideas?
