Need a fuel pump for '84 4kq

Dear qlisters,

the fuel pump on my '84 4kq has died yesterday and I am going to replace
it. Is there anyone with the used pump just taking space in the house that
he would like to sell for a reasonable price.

I asked the vendors and so far I got quotes for ~$150 for brand new and
$100 for a  rebuilt unit. 

If someone has a _working_ unit he doesn't need, please get back to me
using the email:  <andrei@felix.physics.sunysb.edu> (this is NOT the same
address as in "from" field of this email) 

Of course, if I get a unit that fails within couple of months, I promise
there will be no complaints. I know well that used fuel pumps are
unpredictable and I oppose qlist bashing in any case.

I would also appreciate to hear any advises on whether it makes sense to
buy a rebuilt fuel pump instead of a new one if the price difference is
$50.
