UrQ water temp-Follow-Up

A contribution to the list (my first since joining):

My 83 UrQ has an aux. oil temp gauge, and tells me that I generally run
220-225.  This is in Iowa with temps in the mid 90s and the heat index (thanks to humidity) way over 100.

Caveat: having just bought the car and still learning and fixing (brakes just died) I don't know if this is where it should run or not.  Hope this helps.

Thanks all for brake advice, she's to go up on jacks this weekend...no trip to Road America this weekend: brakes on UrQ, exhaust on CGT.
