be careful about that, i've seen people do the same, only to be pulled over
after 4 or 5 miles, just when they thought everything was cool.  my policy:
never think a cop is going to look the other way, always drop to within 4 mis.
of the limit when one is driving in your immediate vicinity.  who knows, maybe
if he drives to the end of his territory and doesn't get an oncoming violator
he'll take you down as the last resort.
