On my 1995 90 Quattro Sport I found that a 17 inch with a 215/45/17 tire 
would fit best.  There were only several choices for the car.  It seems to 
be a rare bolt pattern for aftermarket wheels.  I went with the BBS RX 
wheels.  I could not find a 18 inch wheel it the 4X108 bolt pattern when I 
was looking.  The bolt pattern is your problem with the A4 wheels, they are 
5 bolt.  If you want an idea I can send you a pic of my car.
