one way is to have an ATI 8M video card.  They must be cheap or I
wouldn't own one.

PS I broke down and got a 17" screen at Walmart (I *really* needed a new
monitor, too!), 180 on closeout, which will run at 1280x1024, albeit at
a 60 Hz refresh rate.  So I run a smaller format most of the time, with
the ATI card giving me a clock tray two click ability to change without
shut down.

No more scrolling, wheee
