<<So what the heck is a Ford Granada?? I don't think I've ever seen
one.>>

The Granada was Ford's mid/full-size family car of the late 70's.
Cheap, undistinguished, but fairly reliable for the era.

My Grandmother (the principle customer type for these cars) had a great
one... a 2-door sports edition. 302-4v, C4, posi, disc brakes, HD
suspension, bucket seats/console, ralley rims, etc. Was a rather nice
driver... again for the era. I've not seen a similar one since.

My first wife also had a Granada of the same year ('78, I think)... with
the 6 banger, normal suspension, etc. Categorically one of the worst
cars I've ever driven. (Should have told me something....);-)
