84 fuel problems

  Opposite problem than the 87 post, will only run if air-flow sensor plate 
is assisted by lifting a little by hand, like a massive air leak but air 
plumbing is intact.  Will be checking fuel pressure first.  Any suggestions 
would be appreciated.
