re RE: NEEDED BAD! tank from radiator, 88 80-90q

Obin Olson" <obin_olson@hotmail.com> wanted to replace the top of his
radiator with a used plastic part.  I believe I dissuaded him of this, due
to the cost and inconvenience for me to remove one and ship it to him.
Others on the list likely also suggested this was a risky approach.  I
suggested that Obin purchase a replacement all-metal radiator from Peter of
Audionly.  The reason was that I had recently bought one.  It was well
packed, and came to me COD, in a short time after I ordered it.  It will be
installed Wed, so I'll let everyone know how it works out.  

In the meantime, I fail to see why this attack arose.  In my nearly 4 years
on the list, I have not read a peep of complaint about Peter.  If someone
has a complaint, he should "speak up", and not engage in background
innuendo.  JMHO.
