Re: mileage



A year or so ago I drove to Chicago (300 + miles, all but 50 on
expressways) and averaged 75 mph (that's driving 90 where there was no
traffic) in my 5kcstq, and got nearly 30 mpg.  Made the same trip last
spring pulling a trailer, unloaded going, carrying a 250-pound saw
returning,  and averaged 18 mpg with a round-trip average speed of 70.  I
think it's amazing I can do that with the comfort and stability of the 5k.
I also remain amazed that my 4kcsq averages 28 mpg and is used almost
exclusively in stop-and-go town traffic.
