I had Ned Rithchie, of Intended Acceleration in Olympia, WA modify my
computer. There is no spring involved, just a chip. He claims a 70
horsepower increase, but I am not sure it is that much. I will state that I
am completely satisfied with the increase in power for $900! At the cost of
replacing a 20V engine, I decided to go with the person I felt gave the
engine the most protection. I did this about one year ago, on a 50,000 mile
car, and have not had one problem. Make sure you have a new timing belt for
insurance.
