I believe those are 12-pt bolts, not Torx or Allen.  I'm not at home so I 
can't check but get some brake cleaner and clean the holes and you should 
see exactly what type of bolt head design you have on there.  I recall it 
being 6 or 8mm - but I could be mis-remembering or mixing it up with the 
GTi....

Underneath is much easier.....
