RE: tire sies

i have to agree with george about wider tires. i love the added bite.
it has, however, always been my understanding that if you want a faster
0-60, you go with a smaller diameter setup. whereas if you want lower
rpms at high speeds, you go with larger tires. what i have always done
on my cars is to get a larger rim, but use a lower profile sidewall, so
that the final wheel/tire size is cancelled out. i like the handling of
the low-pros, and i have to admit, i like the look of more metal in my
wheel well. anybody know how wide i can go and what the max offset for
my 1990 80q is?

Thanks in advance.
