I always carry my wheels in to have tires mounted. I just toss two
wheels in the trunk of another car on my way to work. Stop by a local
shop. Let 'em have at it with no worries about damage to hubs, bearings
underside of car etc. Next day drop by with the remaining two. I make
sure they use stick on weights and that they mount directional tires the
right way. I don't think they mind not having to monkey around with
jacks and thousands of pounds of car. They still get their $8 per mount
balance. Everybody is happy.
