RE: A/C Compressor Noises

What kind of noise is it?  Mine makes a loud groaning sound, and puts a big 
load on the engine, and since my ISV doesn't work, the engine wants to 
stall when you first start it up with the a/c engages. I'll wait till it 
dies before I replace it.  Compressor Oil did no good.   If its a higher 
pitched squeal could be a belt, could be a bearing.
