4000Q/UrQ Diff Lock Switch

This weekend I converted my UrQ single pull diff. lock
switch to a dual position switch from a 1984 4000Q.
The switch itself is much longer and requires the
removal of the cruise control brain. Does anyone know
how the 1984 4000Q housed its cruise control brain?
Did they revise the mounting bracket? Any thoughts
appreciated.
