My 95A6q has a BOSE system too. I've also, forgotten to turn off the radio on 
a couple of occasions. I found out here, that there was actually a signal 
sound to warn of this. So, I mentioned it when I brought the car in for 
service and they checked it out. Turns out they *had to* replace the entire 
control panel (I think that's what its called) and now lo and behold, there 
are all sorts of sounds that the car should have made but didn't <G>

Thankfully it was covered by the warrantee.
